PVC-U Pressure pipes
Pro Water Rwanda Ltd supplies PVC-U pressure pipes engineered for reliability, durability, and safe water conveyance. Made from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U), these pipes are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for water supply, irrigation, and drainage systems.
- Material: Unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-U)
- Minimum Required Strength (MRS): Varies by standard (e.g., typically around 25 MPa for specific grades)
- Hydrostatic Design Basis (HDB): 27.6 MPa (4000 psi) or 26.4 MPa (3830 psi) @ 23°C (73°F)
- Allowable Compressive Strength: 60 – 80 MPa
- Tensile Strength at Yield: 40 – 55 MPa
- Elongation at Break: 10 – 50% (rigid material)
- Modulus of Elasticity (Tensile): ~3000 – 3300 MPa
- Flexural Modulus: ~2700 – 4000 MPa
- Poisson’s Ratio: 0.38 – 0.41
- Thermal Expansion Coefficient: 7 to 8 × 10⁻⁵ °C⁻¹
- Pressure Ratings: Various PN ratings (PN6 to PN25) or Schedule 40/80 ratings
- Available Diameters: 10 mm up to 300 mm+

Coupling
