- Material: PE100 (Third-generation, high-density pipe-grade polyethylene virgin material)
- Minimum Required Strength (MRS): 10.0 MPa (1450 psi)
- Hydrostatic Design Basis (HDB): 11 MPa (1600 psi) @ 20°C/23°C
- Allowable Compressive Strength: ~7.93 MPa
- Tensile Strength at Yield: ~23 – 26 MPa (3300 – 3770 psi)
- Elongation at Break: >600% to >800% (highly ductile)
- Modulus of Elasticity (50 years): ~200 MPa (approx. 1000 MPa short-term flexural modulus)
- Flexural Modulus: ~1000 MPa
- Poisson’s Ratio: 0.45
- Thermal Expansion Coefficient: 1.3 × 10⁻⁴ °C⁻¹
- Pressure Ratings: Designed to match the connected pipe’s PN rating or SDR (e.g., SDR 11 for PN16, SDR 17 for PN10).
