Nyagatare Irrigation Project
The Project was completed using a solar-powered submersible pump system with one active and one standby pump. The installation features HDPE pipes — 90mm PN10 as the main line and 90mm, 63mm, and 50mm PN10 for the lateral network — ensuring efficient and reliable water distribution.

System by using solar powered submersible pupmp sets-1 ons and kept 1 pump as a standby. It is proposed to provideHDPE piipes 90mm PN 10 as main pipe to supply water to submains of reservoir and HDPE pipes 90,63,50mm PN 10 for lateral lines.
Since the solar rediation is available for 6 hours so irrigation system has been designed to irrigate the crops in 6 hours in alternate day.
Entire operation of sprinklers & surface system is dependent on intesity of solar radiation available in the field, Incase of less intensity of solar radiation, irrigation has to be given for next day.

Sprinkler submain (buried)
HDPE pipes of 90 mm PN 10 buried underground and 10 Sprinkler ydrants are taken off ar every 24m distance on each submain.
Sprinkler hydrant
G.I valve 2″, HDPE tee 2 inch, G.I 2inch pipes – G.I 2inch elbow are taken off every22m distance at each water application (HDPE pipes 50mm PN10)- Hydraulic valve with pressure pilot at each submains Hydraulic valves(3″) with pressure pilot are provided at each submain for on off purpose and pressure regulation purposeas per the requirement.
Butterfly valve 3″ – Flush valve
Butterfly valves 3″ are provided at each submain end to flush out the submain

Pvc air release valves 2″ are provided on HDPE mainline of 110mm
HDPE main lines
HDPE pipeline of 110mm ON 10 is provided as a feeding main to all sprinkler submains(old system), HDPE pies of 90mm PN 10 is submain pipes fedding lateral pipes of 50mm PN10(new system)

Auto Quick Pressure Relief valve
Auto Quick Pressure Relief valve 2″ is provided after the pump unit to release the sudden built of pressure in the systemso that to prevent the pipeline from breaking (old system); Check valve HDPE type 3″ is installed on delivery pipe and connected to the new systemold system. 35 pcs of check valves HDPE type 2″ is fixed on lateral line are provided feeding to all hydrants.
Manual Bypass cum Pressure relief valve
Manual By-pass cum pressure relief valce 3″ is provided on two distributors line after the pump uni to release the sudden built of pressure in the system so that to prevent the pipe line fro breaking.Filtration unit A screen filtration unit (casing pipe) Dia of 200 mmfilter the water from physical inpurities like silt, clay, sand, solid particles, etc.
New submersible solar pump unit
It is proposed to provide on unit of AC submersible solar pump of 13.9 Kw head max 80 m, rated flow 28m3 per hour. With the MPTT charger of 14kw, 380v(new system) for now the old system is not operrational causing of the MPTT damage

Pvc hose pipes with wire in side 1,5 mm size end of the pipes fixed the spray nozzle a hand

Excavation of two water pond each 250m3 installed upper pf the land

The tensile strength: >=300N/MM2, the tear strength: >=18/MM2, the elongation at break: >=394%, the shrinkage: >=0.0%, the bursting strength:30 DAN/CM2, the UV treatment: 100%, the recylabe: 100%, the thickness: 0.9-1.0MM (One millimeter), made of |HDPE material.

Dam sheet covering with iron sheet with tubes and sheet structure suppoertd concrete structure.
